Instead of testing algorithm trivia, HackerHires provides realistic projects as a challenge to test real programming skills. Our approach not only shows you how a developer codes, but also how they communicate.
After you send an invitation to your applicants, they receive an invitation with a link that directs them to your HackerHires job landing page. They sign in with their GitHub ID and we automatically generate a private repository and add a technical reviewer from your company.
HackerHires collects all data you need to know in order to evaluate a candidate on one page in an easy-to-read format. You have all the contact information, a complete application status on finished issues, your applicant’s comments on their solutions, links to the diff and repository, as well as a deployed result. Share it with your team members, rate the applicants and make an informed decision.
We used to fly candidates after a first phone call to our office for interviews. Now after a challenge we know much better whether someone is the right fit for our team and if it’s worth to fly him in. That saves us time and money.
